Airport
The closest major airport to the California Institute of Technology is the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). LAX serves as a major hub and offers the most convenient flight options, however, be advised that the airport is undergoing major construction causing arrival and departure delays due to traffic. For those needing a taxi, shared van ride, Uber, Lyft, etc., on arrival you would need to take a transport shuttle to a designated area of the airport after collecting your luggage in order to access these services.
The closest minor airport to the California Institute of Technology is the Burbank Bob Hope International Airport. Due to its size, there are limited routes and air carriers that service this airport.
